Here we are approaching Memorial Day weekend already! We are all so busy with our gardens, graduations, weddings, family get togethers and picnics it seems like time moves faster and faster. I found a quote that I felt was fitting for this time of year.

"There are two lasting bequests that we can give our children: one is roots, the other is wings" - Hodding Carter, Jr.

Isn't that beautiful? Thank you to all of the father's out there who build a wonderful foundation and give roots to their children for their future success. Especially thank you to my own dad who continues to inspire all of us every day.

Have a safe Memorial Day and remember to take time to remember those that have given their lives so that we may enjoy our freedom.
